Job Summary:
- The Network Engineer will be a member of BKNIX Operation team and working with various functional areas such as designing,testing, implementing, maintaining etc. to provide high reliabily, availability and performance in BKNIX Infrastructure. You will be responsible for operational tasks on both software and hardware, design workflow and documenting infrastructure information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and configure Internet exchange platform and network monitoring system
- Knowledge in Network Equipment (Router, Switch) and Router’s OS
- Manage network system and server including installation and maintenance for excellent performance and stability
- Other assignments as required
Qualifications:
- Thai Nationality. Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, IS or related fields
- 1 year of experience in computer, network infrastructure, network management system
- Good knowledge in IP Routing (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, RIP, Static) for both IPv4 and IPv6
- Experience in Routing protocol suite such as, Bird, Exabgp, FRR, OpenBGPd, PfSense, Quagga, VyOS
- Experience in managing Network OS such as, Cisco IOS-XE/XR/NX-OS, EOS, JUNOS, SR-OS through CLI or API
- Experience in Unix (centos, debian, ubuntu, etc.)
- Good understanding of network security concepts
- Ability to work under pressure and is a good team player
- Good command in English is advantage
- CCNA or CCNP certifications or basic Programming (php, python) would be an advantage
